The Clef Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to be a beacon of hope and transformation, dedicated to empowering individuals through the universal language of music, art and cultural programs. Founded by a collective of passionate musicians, educators, and social advocates, our organization believes in the power of music to transcend barriers, foster community, and ignite change. At the heart of our mission lies a commitment to making music accessible to all, particularly focusing on youth in underserved and underprivileged communities, as well as offering a new beginning for incarcerated women.
Abiodun Koya is a classical soprano, poet, and humanitarian whose voice has graced some of the world’s most prestigious stages from The White House to Madison Square Garden. Recognized as one of the few classically trained singers of African descent, she has devoted her career to using music as a bridge between cultures and a force for social good.
Through her artistry and her unwavering belief in the power of education, Abiodun founded the CLEF Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that empowers underserved youths and incarcerated women through music, literacy, and cultural programs. Her work extends far beyond performance: it embodies a calling to heal, uplift, and inspire hope through the universal language of music.
“Every note has the power to heal, to educate, and to unite. Through the gift of music, we remind the world that compassion is a melody everyone can learn.”
